Royal blue is a bolder ground than most embroidered western shirts are built on, and it changes what the floral tooling does.

This is the shirt for the night you want to be seen. Blue this saturated does not need help from the rest of the outfit, so keep the jeans dark and the belt plain and let the shirt do all of it. A black vest over the top frames the yokes and leaves the cuff work visible, which is where the tooling is easiest to admire up close.
