The Milwaukee is a pointed-toe western boot on a cowboy heel, cut with classic stitching up the shaft.
It is made in fine leather, with the western stitch pattern that gives a shaft its structure and most of its character. The toe is pointed and narrow, the heel is a cowboy heel at 1 1/4", and the shaft measures 13" with a 13" circumference. Lining and outsole are both leather. Inside there is a comfort cushion insole and a removable soft strike orthotic, which is the part you can lift out or replace when a foot wants something different.
A narrow, pointed toe is the dressiest shape in the western range, and it is the one that slides under a trouser hem most easily. That makes this the boot for the evenings — the one to wear when the shape should read sharp rather than rugged. A leather outsole is quieter underfoot than rubber, though it prefers dry ground. Between sizes, width first.
