A cognac bullhide buckaroo on a round toe — the style named for the men who worked cattle and needed the boot to keep up.
Cognac is the warm, spirit-toned brown that sits between tan and chocolate, and on bullhide it carries a depth that a lighter shade cannot. The toe is round, the traditional western shape and still the one with the most room where it is needed. The style number is 2175. Everything about the boot is in the colour and the line; there is no ornament asking for attention.
Buckaroo styling has always been about a boot that could be worn hard and still look right at the end of the day. Cognac helps with the second half of that — it goes with a jean, with a work trouser, with almost anything except black, and it improves rather than fades. Round toes are the ones to choose for standing up all day. Between two sizes, look at the width before dropping half a size.
