The upper is bullhide in honey, a warm mid-tone that sits between tan and gold. The shaft measures 16", which puts the top of it well up the calf. The toe is squared rather than rounded, so the front of the boot reads wide and flat instead of tapering to a point. At the back, the heel is wrapped in rawhide and carries a spur ledge, the small shelf that gives a spur something to seat against instead of sliding down the counter.
